Once was a masterpiece. It to this day remains one of my Top 5 musicals of all time. Some Hollywood bigwigs made a great decision by aquiring the rights for the indie movie and Broadway is being thrown around.
My opinion? Hell ya make a stage adaptation. I'd shell out 100 bucks to see it and if, like /Film has reported, Marketta Irglova and Glen Hansard represied their roles it could have the potential to be better than the film. Click this video to see a scene from the film.
