We'll start with the Star Trek trailer, which while I'm not a Treky, I admit looks amazing. I'm not a fan of the intro of the whole car thing and the robot, but after that it's smooth sailing. Zachary Quinto looks great as Spock and I want to see more of Eric Bana, John Cho, and Simon Pegg (all of which merely get 3-4 seconds of screen time in the trailer). JJ Abrahms looks to have done it again. Next up is Che which consists of Guerrilla and The Argentine, two seprate films done similarly to Flags of Our Fathers and Letters From Iwo Jima 2 years ago. Del Toro looks amazing and this will hopefully garner him an Oscar nod. The trailer itself is rather cryptic, and nothing truly cohearent goes on from what I could tell. Merely short bits and pieces of scenes put togeather to quickly. Up appears to be the latest masterpiece (yes I just used that word) from Pixar. That's all I'll say, the trailer really speaks for it's self. And now, the best comes last, Watchmen. Like the first trailer, the music, lines of dialouge, scene selection, all comes togeather into what...wait for it... is the best trailer of the year. GO WATCHMEN!
Watchmen - A+, Up - A, Che - A-, Star Trek - B+
