Holiday Buyers Guide! Part 2: Reading

So The Big Lebowski is an amazing movie. I've never really bought entirely into the whole "Lebowski Life style" or Lebowskifest, but regardless this book seems cool. It contains interviews with the cast as well as how the Dude would think about life in general.

I love Harry Potter. There. I said it. Tales of Beetle the Bard you will remember is a book prominantly featured in the final Harry Potter novel. This is a collection of childrens tales and Potterverse folklore.

If you've at all been keeping up in the film community you know that Watchmen comes out next spring. Between now and then you HAVE to read the graphic novel. New to Graphic Novels? This is a good place to start. The book is on the Time's top 100 novels of all time, ALL TIME. It has a very cinematic feel to it and you know the movie is going to be FANTASTIC.

I saw that this came out a couple of weeks ago on IGN and I hurriedly clicked away. The novel got a 9.8 (I THINK thats pretty good) and is defidentally on my Xmas list. It's of course about the clown prince and serves as an independent story from Batman. This is Jokers tale about taking back his section of Gotham from Penguin, Killer Croc, ect.
