Master of all things geek J.J. Abrams hinted at Wondercon earlier this week at a potential Cloverfield sequel. On the idea of a sequel he said "(it) better not be a business decision". "If you're gonna do something, it should be because you're really inspired to do it." He went on, "it doesn't mean that it'll work, but it means you did it because you cared."
This Cloerfield Sequel won't be a sequel in the traditional sense probably (SPOILER: The Main Characters are now dead so...). But it will be in the Cloverfield world probably which is interesting to say the least. Anything Abrams does I'm immediately interested in so as far as I'm concerned give that man creative license to do whatever he wants.
