Ghostbusters 3? Oh, of course. Unlike Seth Rogen, who recently openly slandered the idea, I think it could be a good flick. All the same Actors are coming back which is good. Here are some ideas concerning the film.
- Keep youngsters out. Bring back other popular stars of that era, like Chevy Chase. What happened to that guy? He's done some TV and terrible movies, but if he reteamed up with guys like Ramis and Murry it could be a smash.
- As a fan of the Star Wars series I saw what modern special effects did to that franchise. Keep the retro 80's effects. They're cheesy, they're fun, and it will feel like the Ghostbusters we all know.
- None of this handing off the reigns to a younger generation. Ruined Indiana Jones and it could ruin this. Unless the were to...
- Bring Sigourney Weaver back, but don't waste her. Also don't make her play a "damsel in distress". She already did that, give her a more prominent role but give her a lot of makeup. She really hasn't aged well.
- Murray wants a Female ghostbuster? OK, here are a couple of ideas. Frances McDormand is a good enough actress with the angry comedic talents. Also consider someone like Julie Christy. She was nominated for an Oscar last year and is a great actress, maybe a Love interest for one of the guys? Or maybe Ellen Page. She's young and could be Murray and Weavers Child? Sounds like a pretty good idea to me...
